1. CPR comes in a few different options
    1. If it is required for the job, per OSHA standards/requirements, then Heartsaver Total is what you need (Adult CPR/AED and all first aid)
    2. If it is to get a certification for the AED, the Heartsaver Basic is what is needed (Adult CPR/AED and minimal first aid)
    3. Child and Infant modules are optional for either course and add more time
  1. There are a few delivery options, but we are going with the Blended version due it being the best use of time for everyone
    1. Blended  – online classes (2-4 hours, start/stop as needed, followed by in-person hands on testing)
      1. People take the course on their time frame from their computer and bring the on-line completion certificate to the hands on testing
      2. Em Mgt can do hands-on testing to finish the certification.  We can do 4 people every 20 minutes on testing days.
      3. The link to complete the Blended course is: Heartsaver Total - Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online
Attached are the instructions for anyone who wants to add the infant and child CPR option - Instructions
      4. Once the on-line portion is completed and a certificate is downloaded, schedule a Skills Test session - https://oregonstate.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_eJXym2muw7KGxKe

    1. Costs – all for AHA classes/cards (we don’t charge anything for supplies/labor for hand-s on skill tests)
      1. Blended: $40.50 total -  On-line Course:  $20.50  + eCard:  $20
      2. You can purchase via P-Card a single session or a block of blended courses and issue a link to each person so they can complete the on-line training
        • Note:  If they are wanting Child and Infant CPR, they have to select those options during sign up
      3. Once everyone is hands-on tested and payment is received, eCards will be emailed to each person
  1. AEDs don’t require certification for use.  They are designed for lay persons to pick up and use
    1. We do have training AEDs and can do orientation/practice sessions with mannikins so people can get comfortable using the AED

Here is the comparison chart for certifications.
